2007 OUTSTANDING PUBLIC BROADCASTING VOLUNTEER
Presented to Anne Taft, WSKG
Narrative at the Award Presentation
October 3, 2007
The 2007 honoree is a multi-talented individual who has given an extraordinary amount of her time to WSKG. Her tenure at WSKG predates the volunteer software and many of the staff. She has used her computer skills to design and write code for the entire software system used to track auction donors, items, bidders and values. Recently, Anne has taken on an additional project: She is designing a computerized card catalog system for WSKG's music consisting of over 13,000 cd's.
The many years of dedicated service Anne has given cannot be quantified but we can safely guess that she saved the station thousands of dollars. For her unselfish dedication and the high skill level that Anne brings to public broadcasting in the WSKG broadcasting area, NFPB honors Anne Taft.
