1993 DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD
Presented to Michael A. Novosel
Georgia Public Television
Georgia Public Television personnel describe Michael Novosel as "the number 1 volunteer," and as "the Friend in the Friends group." Michael's business requires that he spend about half or his time traveling on the road. Yet he still finds time to volunteer for GPTV.
A typical business trip required him to be gone for six days. On the seventh day, Michael was found working at the station. He straightened the set, greeted volunteers, made coffee, trained all the volunteers for the fundraising drive, took pledges, answered questions, placated viewers, tallied pledges and finally turned out the lights.
Georgia Public Television is pleased to have Michael a a Friend. The devotion and dedication Michael demonstrates are invaluable.
