Presented to Michael Kasloff
KVPT-TV, Fresno, CA
It takes a special person with a genuine affinity for public broadcasting to perform in a volunteer capacity as Michael Kasloff has for KVPT-TV. Michael was a KVPT production volunteer on a part-time basis for six years and proved himself capable in every aspect of live and taped productions. When he saw a need for an additional Producer-Director, he offered his services because the station did not have the resources to hire one.
Michael logged more than 2,500 hours volunteering for KVPT in the past year. He has been Producer/Director of three weekly programs, one of which he initiated.
His crowning achievement is his image building of VALLEY PRESS, a local program. Viewers in California's San Joaquin Valley have come to respect this news program for its unbiased, but clear and concise discussion on major issues. Michael was able to interview many nationally known guests. His segment, with Vice President Quayle aired on the "MacNeil Lehrer News Hour."
What the world of public broadcasting needs now is more Michael Kasloffs!!
