PAULA KERGER, PRESIDENT & CEO, PBS
Public broadcasting volunteers are our partners, they are our connection to the community, they tell our story on Capitol Hill and at State Legislatures, they are our fundraisers, on-air hosts and most importantly they are our friends. They step up to the task - no challenge is too great. Take time today to nominate the outstanding volunteers at your station to be recognized by National Friends of Public Broadcasting. |
Save the Date!
Save the Date for the PBS Annual Meeting! The 2018 PBS Annual Meeting will take place May 7-9 at the Sheraton New Orleans. This year the National Friends of Public Broadcasting will host a pre-conference workshop on May 7th. “Beyond the Airwaves: Volunteers in Public Media” will provide training and peer-to-peer sharing about best practices for a successful volunteer program at your station.
